Dinner in the Agafay desert

What it is
Dinner is served once it is properly dark, outside when the weather allows, and cooked on site rather than reheated. It costs €35 per person and it is the part of the evening people describe when they get home.
Depending on the camp, the evening may bring live music, traditional dance, saxophone, gnawa musicians or a fire show. The programme differs from one camp to another, which is what gives each evening its own character. Say whether you want music or a quiet camp: both can be arranged when we know in advance.

When to go
After dark, which means around seven in winter and closer to nine in June. Arrive in time for the hour before it: the light is the reason to come early, and dinner is what follows.
