What it is
The buggy takes two people in one machine, which changes the outing: you can share the drive or swap halfway. It costs €110 for the vehicle rather than per person, which makes it the cheaper choice for a couple and the wrong one if you both want your own wheel.
It covers the long loop, further east than the quads, on open gravel tracks with views towards the Atlas. A guide leads the way. The roll cage, harnesses and helmet are part of the machine, not an extra.

When to go
Mid-morning, before the heat builds, or late afternoon for the light. The tracks are exposed and there is no shade on the plateau, so the middle of a summer day is the one hour to avoid.
